Much of the existing extension is gone now and demolition had moved on quite smoothly. Having gone underground, however, we’ve found concrete encased soil pipes from the flats above and a manhole below the existing property! We’ll have to move the manhole outside the building and reroute the soil lines as they interfere with our new foundations and slab.

We’ve also begun digging our trenches where we can. Weather is getting quite cold too.
